Did you know that apart from English, the official language in New Zealand is Maori? Yes, and so are the native people from there.
We certainly know very little about these islands in the antipodes but we don´t intend to overwhelm you with lots of information. As we have been studying sports in 1st ESO, we would like to share with you something about one of the most popular sports there: rugby. New Zealand´s national rugby team´s name is All Blacks. They are famous around the world because before they start a match, they always do a haka, a traditional Maori war dance, standing opposite their opponents. They do this in order to show them their strentgh and power. It´s amazing and really worth watching! Don´t miss it! Watch the video down here.
